Heycop invested in a new NHX5500 machine with a tool magazine for 330 Tools for the new building. Which in the context of LEAN & SMED gives us the opportunity to work more efficiently and flexibly with fixed tool sets. With a machining area of X:800 [mm], Y:800 [mm] & Z:880 [mm], big plus take-up and outstanding speed, this is the machine for fast, efficient and extremely precise machining.

Heycop has a total of five Mori Seiki NH(X)5000 machines. These are 4-axis horizontal machines that are among the world’s best in CNC machining. With a machining area of X:730 [mm], Y:730 [mm] & Z:850 [mm] and outstanding speed, this is the machine for fast, efficient and extremely precise machining. In addition, these machines have a magazine with space for 60 tools.

In addition to the horizontal Mori Seiki machines, Heycop also has two vertical milling machines. Haas vertical machines offer a good alternative for products that need to be machined over fewer surfaces. With a machining area of X:1270 [mm], Y:508 [mm] & Z:635 [mm] this machine offers more space than the NH(X) machines which makes it suitable for somewhat larger work.

Like the milling park, Heycop’s turning park with Mori Seiki machines is modern and up to date. The NL2500SM which is equipped with robot to run also at night has a turret with attached tools, which can hold up to 24 tools. This combined with the robot ensures a solid, efficient and fast machining cycle.

In addition to the Mori Seiki SM lathe, Heycop also has a type SY. This machine is equipped with a Y axis that can perform milling operations with the driven tool in addition to turning operations. This can save one machining step for products with both turning and milling operations. Reducing the number of machining steps saves costs.

Heycop’s Doosan is a type with two main spindles and two tool-turrets. This allows us to put up to 48 tools and machine products on two sides in the same machine cycle. In addition, the machine has a Y axis and availability of fully automatic bar feeding. With this bar feeder, Heycop is able to produce large series of turnings quickly and efficiently.
